AWAKE AND ARISE

"Shall not my people awake in this hour? Am I not stirring my people that they may see that which I desire, and that they may arise and enter into that which I have prepared? I say, awake and arise, and be not content to dwell in the dust of your carnal ways. Shake yourself loose from that which has held you captive. (Isa. 52:1-2). Arise, I say, and see that inheritance which I have prepared for you. For I am causing my people to see that which is their inheritance, and I am causing them to arise and enter in. My people have been bound by the traditions of men long enough. They have been held captive long enough. Now I am causing them to shake themselves loose and to arise to their heritage in me. For my righteousness and my salvation are being prepared before me. I am readying my people to enter fully into my righteous ways, and my salvation shall uphold them and provide that which they need. Truly are a people now beginning to arise and leave behind that which has bound them, and they are making their way into that which is of my truth and my righteousness.

So arise, my people, for the day of your deliverance is at hand. Truly a people shall return to Zion and rebuild the waste places and the former desolations, and they shall be called the repairers of the breach. (Isa. 58:12). For in this day a remnant is returning to the ways of their God, and they shall magnify the Lord in all that they do.

Therefore the Lord would say to His people, "Listen!" Listen to that which I am speaking to you; let me show you by the revelation of my Spirit that which I purpose in this day. Begin to realize that which is your right and your inheritance in Christ. Realize that my people are living far below their covenant rights. They have barely begun to enter into that which is made available by the sacrifice of Christ, as He once for all confirmed the covenant of eternal redemption. So my people, will you not let me open your eyes to behold that which is yours. Look, I say, to me and behold that which I am making known unto those who will hearken to my Word.

And then I would say to you, awake and arise. Awake and let me show you the mighty strength of your God; awake and behold the mighty arm of the Lord. For even now am I ready to move on the behalf of those who will awaken out of their lethargy and call on me. And then will you not arise? Arise, I say, and possess your heritage. For why will you remain in the bondage of your former traditions? Why will you not shake yourself loose and forget that which has blinded you and held you, and enter into that revelation which I am making known in this hour?" (end of prophecy)

In connection with this prophecy, read carefully the the 51st and 52nd chapters of Isaiah. Notice in these two chapters the repeated use of the words, "Hearken," "Awake," and "Arise.” It is a message to those who are willing to hear the call of the Lord to come out of Babylon and return to Zion (51:11, 52:11), to shake themselves loose from their bondages and limitations in the land of captivity and see the mighty arm of the Lord move as in former days (51:9). Truly this is now being fulfilled as the Lord is causing a remnant to enter into His purposes and put on the beautiful garments of His light and truth (52:1). See also Ephes. 5:14.
