WILL IT BE A WINTER WEDDING?

December 11, 2016

This is an unusual December in my acquaintance with the voice of the Lord. I am hearing a voice of the Lord that is overriding all present activity on life’s surface. The voice is coming in loud and clear to me on the “subspace” channel of the Spirit (…he that has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.).

I am hearing the voice of restoration, the voice of the midnight cry, the voice of the bridegroom, the voice of fire and the voice of maturation. I am hearing the voice of the (true) Elijah spirit, the voice of John the Baptist calling from the depths of the wilderness, “Prepare the way of the Lord.”

This is December in the northern hemisphere, where the preponderance of earth’s people live. It is a time of extreme darkness. It is the midnight time of the year here, spiritually as well as naturally. It is the midnight of all fantasy.

A wedding is in preparation at this midnight hour. But who would look for a wedding to take place at midnight? Who would hold one, and who would attend one? Yet, “in such an hour as you [would] think not” the bridegroom comes...and a wedding will be held.

Where Is the Bride?

A wedding is in preparation, but yet, a search remains on for the Bride! Where is the Bride? There is no Bride to be seen anywhere.

How is that?” you say.

There are many would-be virgins, but there is no Bride. “Pick me, pick me!” the virgins call. “I want to be where You are,” they sing. “When You walk into the room, everything changes,” they sing. “I love Your Presence,” they sing.

But there is no Bride.

Why is there no Bride?

It is because the virgins are not of age. They have a fantasy only. The virgins worldwide only fancy themselves to be the Bride. They are babes fantasizing over babes, over a hurting world, and over a Babe in a manger.

But there is no Bride. There is no Bride because there is no maturity. There is no maturity because there is no restoration. There is no restoration because there is no preparation. There is no preparation because there is no ear to hear (…or is there….somewhere an ear….deep in the subspace….able to hear beneath all else….?).

Do You Hear What I Hear?

But there is a voice calling from the midnight wilderness. It calls on the subspace channel of the Spirit where the Lord speaks to the churches, not from the digital “rooftops” of Christian e-magazines (“if they say He is there, don’t believe a word of it”).

It is the voice of preparation, of restoration and of maturation. It is a voice making ready a Bride from the midst of many would-be virgins.

It is a voice making ready a people to receive the fiery identity-severing authority of the Bridegroom, a voice to effect the needed compatibility between the heavenly Bridegroom and earthly Virgin Hearts...hearts that are willing, but whose flesh is yet weak—hard pressed to tarry one hour.

It is a voice seeking to restore the authoritative apostolic nest….that place the Son of God might find where to lay His head.

It is a voice seeking to bring the hearts of the willing Virgins into the maturity of Bridal stature equal to His Heart….a Help meet to see Him eye to eye, a Listener to share in the completeness and fullness of His mysterious Counsels.

This is the voice I am hearing amidst this season’s present darkness, and more intently than I ever have. That voice is glowing with its own internal brightness. Its only message is Christ and Him crucified. It has no respect for anything else…no holiday, no tradition, no family aroma, no good deed or charitable work, no program, and no historic story. It recognizes that the Word made flesh is now, that His kingdom gospel of identity circumcision takes no vacation in December, nor does the mouth of hell as it swallows its dead by the hour.

Those who hear this voice can hear nothing else….no other story....no other testimony….no other gospel….no other voice….the time is too near.

Can you hear the voice too?

Do you hear what I hear?

Will it be a Winter wedding?

(and if it is, where will you be….?)
