Steering A Straight Course For The
Eternal
Four Eternal Absolutes
"If an angel bearing another gospel…"
A late massive in-breaking of spiritual experience and revelation has befallen the temporal mortal church in preparation for our transition to glory. But this same visitation is producing the gravest threat to true spirituality ever to face the aspiring priesthood.
Despite the genuinely heavenly origin of this in-breaking, the interaction of revelatory experience on fleshly minds opens us to possibilities for deception that rival the ability of the experiences to improve our true knowing of God. That's because everything we can experience now, spiritual and otherwise, is processed through a temporal mind that is natively opposed to truth and to the eternal knowledge of God, being predisposed instead to idolatry of the temporal realm. When heavenly revelation meets earthly minds, there is as much possibility for cursing as there is for blessing.
To counteract this, God, through the Scriptures, has subjected us to a regimen of spiritual absolutes designed to check the potentially subversive effects of this heavenly interaction on our carnal souls. Apart from these absolutes, it is impossible to:
- rightly steward spiritual experiences and revelations concerning God's end time work,
- fulfill our personal destiny in Christ without distraction,
- stand totally approved before the judgment seat in humility,
- and complete the race to glorification.
These absolutes are immutable as long as we remain on the mortal side of the heavenly veil, and must govern our mental processing of all spiritual experiences. The more spiritually-attuned the experiences, the more imperative that these absolutes be in force in our digesting of them. Otherwise, our encounters with heavenly reality and their descendant teachings will lock us into an idolatrous "quasi-demigod-like" state of mind which—after all is said and done—leaves us subject to death and short of God's glory.
Despite the imperative of these absolutes upon us, they are routinely overlooked, ignored, disregarded, and/or resisted by those who now serve on the forefront of the current spiritual tidal waves. Thus countless multitudes are interfacing with realms of spiritual reality which they are ill-equipped to process without being undone from the intimate call of the Eternal Father or doing damage to the testimony of God's glory.
The absolutes below act as a filter to protect our heart's faithfulness to the Eternal Father in the face of our mental reckoning with spiritual experience. They are beautiful both for their simplicity and immutability. And they present the seeking heart a sure reference point for steering our eternal awareness against the distraction of temporal mortal consciousness as it interfaces with heavenly experience and information.
Absolute I. - Personal Devotion Comes First
Personal heart access to the Father's communion supersedes all corporate spiritual experience in import and precedes it in foundation. Personal intimacy with God is the goal of all corporate gathering and the ultimate reference point for the validity of corporate experience.
Our interface with the community of faith through corporate spiritual experience is a response to our personal quest for God. Our quest can never be for the "body of Christ"—which belongs to God alone—no matter how much revelation may come forth on God's purposes and desires for the body.
As long as the church is mortal, it's as shifting as the sand from which we are made, and so our relationship to it can never be our foundation nor serve as our ultimate reference point in proving our relationship with God. The Lord alone builds His house. Our part in that building derives its legitimacy from being a response to our primary independent love for God, and retains legitimacy only as long as it is a submitted reflection of that first love.
As long as we are short of glorification, we are under constraint of this awareness on all our human relationships. The display of perfect relationship between our personal quest and corporate oneness is seen in the relationship of the 24 elders around the throne of God. Their proximity to one another is mediated by their personal attraction to the Lord. This is the only legitimate model for true corporate unity.
Absolute II. - The Limits of Temporal Heavenly Visitations
Heavenly visitation upon the temporal does not eternally transmute temporal substance. The temporal realm will ultimately pass away before the eternal realm is permanently revealed.
No matter how often or in how many places the temporal realm of men is baptized by visitations of God's heavenly glory, this world remains ultimately perishable and destined for destruction. As long as time is in force, all things subject to time are subject to a final destruction.
Nothing that exists under subjection to the temporal order will remain permanently, even though it may be visited by a manifestation from the eternal realm. This will remain so throughout the transition to the manifest Millennial kingdom and even until time itself is ultimately swallowed up by eternity at the appearing of the new heavens and new earth.
Because of this, we may own nothing temporal as our permanent inheritance, even though God's glory may be interacting with it through our lives. Ownership of all things temporal must be relinquished even before taken up for stewarding through His will. No visitation of God centered on a temporal thing or place changes this absolute, no matter how powerful the visitation.
Therefore, as long as we live under the domain of mortality, we must retain a relinquished attitude toward the present order and our hearts must ever center on a future invisible inheritance, regardless of the weight of spiritual power operating on the temporal order around us. The stronger our present encounter with such power, the stronger this imperative.
Absolute III. - The Final Futility of Adamic Identity
Adamic identity is essentially futile, incapable of redemption and destined for destruction. Progress toward personal glorification is directly dependent upon renunciation of and deliverance from adamic identity.
Identity in Christ is essentially classless, raceless, sexless, and ageless as delimited by mortal adamic life. No new prophetic revelation of a temporal divine purpose toward a given adamic nation, tribe or culture can change this or sanctify such identity. The pursuit of pure identity in Christ leading to glorification at the expense of adamic identity supersedes and must govern awareness of any revealed lesser purpose of the Spirit concerning any adamic people group.
No display of God's glory among an adamic people may be used to ascribe eternal worth or value to that group or justify carnal patriotic sentiments. No revelation or display of glory centered on an adamic class can override this absolute, no matter how strong the glory associated with it, and all involvement with adamic classes triggered by such glory must be governed by this awareness.
Absolute IV. - Divine Passion Subject to Divine Will
In His relationship to man, the passions of God are governed by the will of God, and the universal displays of His unconditional Passion exist in subjection to the Selectivity of His greater redemptive purpose under Allegiance to His Holiness.
Within the Love of God, the Passion of God and the Will of God are not coextensive. The boundless depth of the Passion of God is yet bounded in its extent of application by the Will of God—a will that does not embrace all men in its eternal redemptive purpose. The appropriation of God's love, grace, and mercy (Passion) toward man is utterly predicated upon the His Supreme Love (Commitment) for His own holiness which retains its primal wrath, anger and condemnation toward that segment of mankind which from the beginning of time, and according to the inscrutable holiness of His purpose, has and will yet lie outside the inclusion zone of His redemptive plan.
God's passionate love toward mankind is not universal in any way to say that it is without parameter—to wit, "I will have compassion upon whom I will have compassion." Where one divine attribute (passion for man) is delimited by another (will), it cannot be universal in any absolute unconditional sense. The depth of God's love for man is unfathomable, but its extent is not unbounded. His love has various dimensions of extension and depth, but even in its most extensive application, it is still bounded by His will—His Supreme Love for His Holiness.
To the degree that God's will over-extends His redemptive love, He possesses holy hatred, i.e., a hatred seated in the exclusive separateness of His holiness—a hatred that extends to all who remain forever identified as the "seed of the serpent."
The least understood and most rejected of eternal absolutes, this absolute stands as the make or break point in determining the final standing of countless saints before the final judgment. The vital import of submission to this absolute is this: only as our affection for God's Will remains supreme over our passionate burden for men can we become conformed to the image of Jesus. For even Jesus' personal burden for men was overarched by His dedication to the Father's will.
As great and deep as was His love for men (and whose has been deeper?), Jesus totally submitted his extending and applying of that otherwise fathomless passion for men to the Father's will—a Supreme Love that produces a perfect hatred. For in God lies not only perfect love, but perfect hatred, neither of which are like ours. Conformity to Christ requires our subjection to the complete outworking of both of these in us—perfect submitted passion for all men, and perfect hatred for all men who lie outside His redemptive Will.
In this hour, previously unknown extents and depths of God's love for men are being uncovered and revealed within the tidal corporate movements. Yet no depth of the revealed love of God may cancel out the supreme government of His inscrutable will concerning his relationship with mankind, a will that has pre-ordained immutable eternal points of exclusion of certain men from His Presence according to the holiness of His own divine counsels.
Without the government of this awareness on our portion of God's burden for men, the love of God in us is distorted into a false compassion that elevates man, not the Son, as the supreme object of divine affection and purpose. Wherever God's love for men is more deeply experienced or expressed by revelation, it must remain submitted under the awareness of supreme allegiance to His will, not to our burden—as Jesus Himself was required to do.
Wherever this absolute is not acknowledged or is denied, we are no longer stewarding the genuine obedient passion of God but our own disobedient caricature of it.
Three Sub-Absolutes
This fourth and final absolute yields three sub-absolutes which are embraced within it:
A. Among mortals, the selectivity of God is established through minority remnants. This will remain in force until the end of mortality.
No matter how widespread the work of the Spirit may come to appear among mortals, it will remain subject to a culling process that separates the chosen from the called, and the qualified from the non-qualified and disqualified.
B. Man remains fully and ultimately responsible for the source and consequences of his actions.
This remains in force regardless of the amount and depth of revelation that comes forth recognizing the operation of satanic hordes behind world affairs. No revelation of the operation of satanic force or impartation of deliverance ministry can ever absolve man of final accountability to God and responsibility before God for his life and actions.
C. The results from the age of mortality are eternally permanent and the judgments of those outside God's selective redemption are likewise eternal.
Throughout eternity, not just time, the saints will gaze on the glow produced by the lake of fire (See Isaiah 66:22-24 with Revelation 22:14-15). No forthcoming depth of revelation citing God's redemptive reconciliations in time with mankind can alter this absolute. There will be no total or "ultimate reconciliation" of all men and angels with their Creator.
To reiterate, no revelation of the love of God toward men, however potent or previously unfathomed, may change or cancel these sub-absolutes rooted in the overarching supremacy of His holy will.

The Necessity of These Absolutes
These absolutes can be (and have been) abused. A carnal embrace of these absolutes will quench the Spirit's living work among mortal life, killing God's corporate plan, crippling faith for heavenly manifestations and quenching all spiritual passion for all lost people, including lost sheep.
But if ministered through the power of the Spirit of Truth, these four absolutes are guaranteed to grant us safe conduct to glorification. Their vital function in steering us toward the eternal demands we face and overcome the risks that come with embracing them—not ignore or deny them. It's therefore imperative that they be imparted to our spirits:
- It's mandatory that our awareness of the Lord's electing will govern our burden for mankind.
- It's essential that our charge to lose adamic identity supersede all lesser awarenesses of God's ministry among particular adamic people groups.
- It's required that we recognize the ephemeral nature of the temporal age under all encounter with eternal powers amidst it.
- And it is compulsory that we preserve our own personal access and sense of accountability to the Lord amidst the overflow of His work among bodies of believers.
Where these absolutes do not form the bedrock of our spiritual life, all mortal encounters with divine power are immediately corrupted to contribute to the grand lawlessness that is to climax the age of man. Without these absolutes to filter our revelation and experience, our encounters from beyond the veil cannot help but be perverted into supplying life to laodiceanism, universalism, humanism, and idolatry. All or any of these evils will disqualify us from the race to obtain the Lord's unmeasured approval at the judgment seat, disabling His ability to see Himself in our eyes as a flawless mirror.
At this hour, amid tossing, heaving prophetic seas, the four eternal absolutes are taking an absolute beating. Nevertheless, they are able to cause to stand all who are able to unflinchingly embrace them amidst the waves. Indeed, the "purpose behind the purpose" of today's divine visitations is to prove us, to uncloak our ultimate loyalties, to reveal the state of truth in us so that we may repent and be saved back onto the course of our ultimate calling.
In light of these things, I would implore my prophetic and other spirit-filled brethren to repent for their ignorance or their actual disdain for these absolutes in their teaching. For to the degree they are ignorant of them, their prophecies are misleading. And to the degree they disdain them, they are false prophets—the heavenly source of their visions notwithstanding.
Let it be known: these absolutes do not cry nor lift up their voice in the streets. But they belong to the hidden heart of those who are able to embrace their whisper:
"Watch, and be wise, all you saints who have hearts to hear the undercurrent of the Father's true will. Hear, and do not be afraid for the clamor of the visions and experiences now breaking upon every side in the mortal church. It is not your burden to evaluate the validity of every word and supernatural utterance. It is yours only to stay on the course I have planted within your heart. Keep to my absolutes and you will not be ashamed at the last hour when I come to deliver you from all this which is shortly to implode upon itself, and bring you safely into the immortal."
