[Editors Note:

The dual treatises Flight From Babylon & Labour Not for the Meat That Perishes were composed in the summer of 1987 and gave birth the next year to the circulation writing ministry now known as First Love Ministry.  Written in a spirit of direct prophetic confrontation reflecting the axe-laying ministry of John-the-Baptist, the treatises call for major changes in the "settled" life of the Western church requiring a power of salvation beyond mere willpower to achieve. Note also that in prosecuting the sin of the carnal settlement of God's people within western civilization, the treatises do not speak to the genuine temporary "stewardship establishments" of the Lord's people in the earth nor attempt to define what constitutes legitimate intercourse in the working world. A more precise description of the enabling nature of the coming salvation from the collective works of society is found in the 2011 article Announcing the Imminent Arrival of Stewardship Salvation, and ought to be read together with these treatises.]
