Angst inside the culture prophetic camp has grown to a point where quiet division has now emerged between certain who have started to admit, albeit grudgingly, that their prophecies failed because they were more centered on Trump than Christ, and those of a diehard mind that will not let go of their proclamations.

In this light I recommend an interesting discussion by Patricia King who seems to hold a more noble heart among this camp, unafraid to admit that presumption ruled in much of what was prophesied while calling for soul searching and accountability among these prophets.

I responded to that discussion with the following comment:

The deception is that all the prophets have abandoned the founding apostolic gospel to deify human culture (aka, the world). They have been seduced into false doctrines of worldly dominion to redefine God's kingdom in terms of America--all as people pour into an eternal hell by the millions around the clock. They have abandoned the message of salvation, the cross, the blood, and the hope of an eternal kingdom not of this world's politics. They have perverted their gift to preach idolatry of a man, a nation, a fleshly heritage and its symbols. Their identities in Christ are uncircumcised and compromised.

Patriotism is what put Jesus on the cross and ended in Paul's beheading. Every prophet is centered on "America" and "Donald J. Trump," not the message of Jesus Christ. Because their eye is bad, the light of their true anointing is refracted into the darkness of carnal human aspirations, presumptions and "wishions". And how great then is that darkness. They prophesy what they want to believe, not what God has already prophesied through His Word about the end. Like Ahab's prophets, they reinforce one another's words as "confirmation."  And God answers them according to the multitude of their idols.

I respect your spirit and your heart, but if you are serious about wanting to get it right, you will exhort the prophets to return to the eternal apostolic foundations and let God lay the cross to your own national identity, counting it as loss, like Paul, for the one true holy eternal nation and priesthood.
