The Future: Where Do We Go from Here?
There are several other revelations I have received from the Lord about this election, but will save them for a follow up article. There is however one final revelatory impression I have received about what is to happen with us from here.
At the beginning, I spoke of hearing the Lord say “The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light.” I spoke about night time infrared vision. And what I have seen is this. While it is true that we will no longer be working with a daylight culture, it is not true that we will have no light. The Lord will begin releasing to us new light by which to maneuver the darkness. It is a light that those who have labored to maintain a pure as well as charitable heart will receive.
There will be a leadership transition in the American prophetic intercessory church. The leaders who have continued misleading the church will begin to diminish (in fact already have.) They have been steadily losing credibility with their unbridled pronouncements of national favor and revival. The Lord will raise new prophetic intercessory leaders based in the new light. This new light will present a new strategy of the Lord for navigating His faithful watching people through the darkness.
A key element of this light will see the beginning coalescing of a new alternative society movement within the larger American society. This movement will be a pilgrim’s movement, not unlike the movement of the original separatists from England. Unlike the pilgrims however, it will not involve sailing to a new land. The movement will take place within the land itself. And the Lord will protect it, though it will be opposed by the new cultural authority. But it will be protected because it will develop more or less quietly—much the same as the exodus from the established churches has been occurring. Only this will be an exodus from the various systems on which the American culture functions.
More above ground will be another movement. This will be a violent revolutionary movement that will take on the new cultural authority. There will be civil war. But those in the pilgrim movement will be protected as long as they refuse to be drawn into it. The Lord will provide for those of this movement. Eventually, this movement will develop a full bodied corporate identity that will fulfill the call of Rev. 18:4, “Come out of her my people that you not partake of her plagues.”
The Lord wants us to not be discouraged by what has happened in the society through this election. Just as He did not want us focusing on the light of the country, neither does He want us to focus on its darkness. He will give us a new light. And He wants us to observe that often times, His greatest deliverances occur at night.
