Addendum 1:
The Moses Deliverance Process
I wrote in Part I on our coming deliverance from the beastly government systems of this world and some of what that will require from us, including the literal real time confrontation of and appearance before human courts of law. The confrontation between Moses and Pharaoh is the key prophetic type in this regard and is given to us in Rev. 15:2 wherein the overcomers of the beast system on the sea of glass are singing the “song of Moses.”
Delving more deeply into such types can teach us more about what will characterize the situation for us. And when we study more closely the process Moses passes through in his encounters with Pharaoh, we see something of what is to transpire to bring us out from under the governments of this world unto their replacement by the manifest kingdom of Christ and His Spoken Law to come.
“Process” is the key word. It’s not something we pay much attention to when we read the story of Moses’ return and his appearances before Pharaoh. We just read the sequence of events: Moses comes back. He goes into Pharaoh. Then he goes again. Then another time. And so on. Until the job is done. And that’s all we see.
But underneath and behind all these appearances is a development in the man making him equal to the calling toward the fulfillment of his role as a deliverer. The story of the plagues is not just a story about a string of events at which Moses is the center. It is as much about the man and his own development.
When Moses arrives back to Egypt after his desert sojourn to begin his mission of conducting Israel’s deliverance, it is a drawn out affair involving numerous court appearances before Pharaoh. It is not a quick single “in and out” presentation of God either to the Hebrews or to Pharaoh. It takes time both for Israel and Pharaoh to be convinced of what God is doing. Even Moses himself has to be convinced as he comes up against the continual push backs from the system.
But in this Moses is developing in his role with each appearance. He is “gaining in wisdom and stature.” The burning bush was just the commissioning. Now the commission has to be walked out in real time.
Today, the same is true. Neither the church at large nor the governments of this world are ready to accept what God wants to do to effect this kingdom transition from slavery to liberty for God’s people and to put them in authority over the earth under Christ. Nevertheless, God is in process of raising up a Moses-class corporate movement out of the desert with a message of actualized liberty to bring to God’s people and to the Pharaohs of the New World Order in every nation.
This message and its effecting is a long drawn out affair as it was with Moses. It begins with a burning bush revelation in our hearts that sees what God wants to do and how He even wants to use us in it. But our vision has to be worked out in real time literal court appearances before the governments of this world that make of us something equal to what it is we have been called to do.
My particular interest here is in Moses’ point of view. We must remember that Moses has been estranged from Egypt for 40 years. He has lost his original soulish strength of oratory skill. His last memory of Egypt is as an escapee from a murder charge. And so, although it’s been 40 years, and though He has seen the burning bush and the rod turn into a snake,--in the heat of the hour, Moses yet has some natural fear going both to Israel’s elders and into Pharaoh the first time.
Moses would have had definite fears to overcome approaching Pharaoh. It’s one thing to meet with God in the prayer closet and sense His imminent Presence and Power in a revelation. It’s another to go face-to-face with Pharaoh on Pharaoh’s imposing turf in the light of day. We should all know what this is like by now.
So Moses goes into court. But he is rebuffed. Even though he has the “power of the Spirit,” he is still rebuffed. Later, he goes back again, and is again rebuffed. And with each rebuff, he faces increasing humiliation before the very people he has been called to deliver. “Sure, Moses. We knew this half-baked plan to get us all out from under the IRS was never going to work! Forget it man.” This happens numerous times before the final climactic hour of deliverance with the final plague, right before which Moses is threatened with death by “Homeland Security” should he appear again.
There is a literalness of application here for the dawning Moses movement. If you are one of those who has been led by God into court to make a stand over any liberty issue in the carrying out of your life in God, listen up! You are a Moses. And if you have not been so led yet, you need to listen up too, because you too either will eventually be so led, or else you will need to respond to the leadership of those who have in order to be saved from the system.
There is right now an outback movement of people who are seeing through the corruption of the monetary-legal-government consortiums that are running the planet. God has given them a burning bush revelation and a message of deliverance. But they are not accustomed to going into literal court to challenge these systems over the fraudulence in lending, in mortgaging, in monetary policy, etc., etc. that God is revealing to them.
But God is raising them up to confront the courts and governments of man. So they are learning the ins and outs of court. They are having to get educated in the ways of the system and face a series of humiliating set backs in court appearances as they seek victory in hundreds and thousands of individual cases God is thrusting upon them.
In their pursuit, they are being rebuffed and seeming to lose the first time, then the second time, then the third time, etc. They are questioning whether God has really called them to push back against the system over their looming foreclosure, or against that unbelieving spouse trying to get custody of the children, or against that city trying to shut down their ministry. The courts even threaten to jail them if they dare to challenge any further.
Meanwhile the cowering slave church at large is so ignorant and gutless that, though it complains daily of how bad things are getting in the government and banking systems, it cannot even begin imagining going into courts to challenge the system as these Moses-es are doing. And it will not support the Moses-es in their vision for deliverance though it whines for deliverance.
The word to these Moses-es is “Do not give up. God has called you. Pursue, and keep pursuing. Do not yield to the threats of the Pharaohs and the unbelief of the slaves. Eventually you will see the deliverance come through
This is a long term corporate movement God is stirring. You are but one among many hidden ones facing the same thing. And eventually, God will use your case and the cumulative cases of all His hidden deliverers to set the stage for deliverance from Egypt and the overthrow and replacement of the beast system ready to devour the world.”
